Hi everyone! I have wanted to have tall planters at my front door for some time now. But every time I look at how much they cost, I can’t imagine spending over $100.00 per planter, that is just too much money for a decoration. So I thought I would try to make them myself, and see how they turned out.
They were really easy to make, and once the flowers get a little bit bigger, I think they will look really nice!
All I did was buy 2 round tall trash cans at Home Depot, and spray paint them with spray paint that looks like hammered metal. Then I put some empty paint cans in them along with some pine cones for filler, and then added the dirt and then the flowers.
This is a really fast and inexpensive way to dress up your front door! You could also use them with your horse jumps!
